print journey 2 – exploring world culture and design​
​

specifically India, Africa and Scandinavia
we will explore the designs of these cultures, and using them as a reference create our own designs and bespoke textiles using screenprinting as our medium (although you can also use blockprinting as an additional tool or instead of screenprinting if you wish, but I will be using screenprinting as my teaching medium) -
the course is 4 sessions of 2 hours each.

print journey 3 – time travel​
​

we will go back in time and research the designs and colours of different time periods
for example, 1920's, 1940's 1950s, 1960's ....and drawing on the look and feel of these periods to create textiles that surprise us that push us out of our comfort zones and experience something new using blockprinting and screenprinting as our medium -
